My name is Shauna Ruttan
I am the lady behind the camera.
I was always the girl with a camera in high school! Growing up I was frequently looking for artistic and creative outlets; a passion that learned from my mother. In 2016 I began my educational journey in photography & started my business in 2018.
I am a trained educational assistant and worked in the field until I became a mother. Photography opened the doors for a flexible career that allowed me to socialize with amazing families and kids, get CREATIVE!! I love absolutely everything about capturing beautiful moments with my clients.
I currently reside in Medicine Hat, Alberta with my supportive and patient husband; we have two beautiful and busy sons.
Life is all about people, moments & emotions that we want to hold on to..

FAQ
What are the steps after we fill out the form?
Once I receive your intake form, I will reach out to you. We will hash out the details of your session and then you'll receive some emails with your contract, invoice and a questionnaire; if I need more info.
Once the deposit is paid and contract signed, I will officially book you into my calendar!
We don't have a set date yet, can we still message you?
Absolutely message me! I work regularly with clients that have tentative dates ( dues dates, grad dates, etc.)
Once you make a deposit I try to keep my calendar as flexible as possible for you.
Are the travel fees included in your packages?
I often travel to Lethbridge, Calgary, interior BC and the west coast throughout the year. If you happen to book while I am on one of those trips, I don't charge a travel fee.
Depending on when and where you are wanting the session to take place, there may be a fee. I try to keep that cost as low as possible.
